The connection and respect for the upper Midwest pheasant population started for us when we were growing up in east-central South Dakota. Pheasant hunts were a time of fun, fellowship, and extended family gatherings. Learning both the sport, as well as the stewardship aspects of these annual events created long-lasting memories. As we moved into adulthood, the need to both cherish and preserve the key factors that enable these unique events grew stronger.

Providing the needed habitat for the next generation to enjoy these same positive experiences is a strong motivator for taking the needed steps for success. Teaming up with Pheasants Forever or Quail Forever has become a key mechanism for expanding conservation and sustainable habitat for pheasants to thrive.

Laurie and I have expanded our personal commitment to Pheasants Forever or Quail Forever and know that our investments will have a lasting impact on both land preservation, as well as pheasant populations for decades to come. Pheasants Forever or Quail Forever's clear vision, dedication, and constancy of purpose keep us on the track of making sustainable impacts on habitat. We have also admired the strong local chapters that dedicate themselves to expanding Pheasants Forever or Quail Forever's reach in their communities. They clearly show how, together as a team, we can achieve more.

We would like to encourage everyone to adopt that mindset and commitment. Within that teaming framework, our Pheasants Forever or Quail Forever impact will be magnified, and the habitat needed for success will be created in a highly effective manner. We are honored to be part of this expanding team.

As we look at our shared journey, we want to encourage you to make the next era of Pheasants Forever or Quail Forever the best ever."
